Not sure how this works. So it is Sunday May 7th, 2006 and here I am sitting at my desk, having nothing better to do, I create a blog. Hopefully, if you've stumbled upon this somehow, you'll grace it with some of your thoughts, comments or whatever. I like to talk about investments (stocks, real estate etc...), computer technology, the news and politics.

Well... I - too - have received that email from VONAGE. I'm betting the house (and the ex-wife) that share price will go hiher than the IPO price... if it doesn't I lose the house and the ex-wife. One I cannot afford to lose, the other I'd love to lose forever.

So how does that work exactly? you spend most your adult life handling snakes, crocodiles and other wild animals that can kill a man with a simple poisonous bite, yet you are so dumb that you swim too close to the sea bottom - knowing full well the dangers lurking beneath its quiet surface; and you get killed by a sea creature - we are told - is normally shy and non-aggressive. And we are supposed to feel sorry for you? And the government of Queensland offers a state funeral that your father arrogantly turns down? And what about that bastard stingray that killed a famous world "naturalist"?? Did he survive the encounter? Is still lurking underwater waiting to kill another human being? Why didn't the prime-minister - who was so eager to offer a state funeral - organize a hunting party to go track that killer stingray and exterminate it from the bottom of the quiet waters?

Paris Hilton is out of jail, Sheriff Baca has to answer to Contempt of court charge (the judge had SPECIFICALLY instructed that she can not serve her sentence at home BEFORE she went to jail).
And why do I care about any of this anyway??
Maybe because I've had to deal with the Sheriff departments, the justice system and county jail. And I know the poor in this country does NOT get treated fairly.

I read books that pertain to Psychological Solutions, and I also enjoy watching Financial Analysts and listen to their views on the economy of today, which I feel is something to be concerned about.

Doom and Gloom... that's what a financial analyst predicted last week on Glenn Beck's show on CNN Headline News. He specifically predicted the US Dollar WILL lose more than half of its current value over the next few (2 - 5) years. Think about this: when the Euro became legal tender in 2000, one US Dollar equalled about one Euro. Today, only seven short years later, the US Dollar has lost more than 30% of its value against the Euro. Today, Bush is spending 10 Billion Dolars a week on supporting a Shia-loyal-to-Iran government in Iraq that doesn't even feel it owes the US any debt of gratitude (The Americans can leave anytime they want... said Maliki-the-Savior).
Watch Glenn Back's show and feel the impending calamity... Fanatic nutjobs are planning attacks on American schools (a la Beslan) to kill hundreds of innocent children. Some genius invented (and is now marketing on the Internet) bullet-proof backpacks for children to carry their books in to school. Yeah... I probably should start seriously thinking about home-schooling my two young sons (ages 10 and 9). Then let's hope they don't see another big depression (a la 1929) in their lifetime. Let's all hope a miracle happens... Hillary or Barrack gets elected and magically turns things around... yeah... let's all dream-on.
